Manchester Relocation



Manchester is the largest city in the North of England and Britain’s second most important financial centre as well as being. Manchester is also the heart of the county of Greater Manchester, made up of eight authorities including the city of Salford, and the major towns of Wigan, Bolton and Stockport. A public transport system of busses, trams and trains make travelling around Greater Manchester easy. Several motorways connect to the rest of the country and airlines flying from Manchester International Airport connect to the world’s major cities and tourist destinations.

Manchester has everything you would expect from a major international city, thriving business and shopping districts, two universities, vibrant restaurants and nightlife, cultural museums theatres, concert venues and an opera house. Spinningfields is the new heart of Manchester’s business scene having attracted an array of companies including major banks, legal, accountancy and marketing firms. Not to be missed, the ‘curry mile’ in Rushholme is famed for having some of the best Indian restaurants in the country.

The number of people living in the city centre has grown considerably over the last 20 years with the building of impressive new apartment developments and the tasteful conversion of historic former factories and mills.

Trafford

The Altrincham suburbs of Hale and Bowdon in the Greater Manchester borough of Trafford form part of what is locally known as the ‘Golden Triangle’, with some of the best properties and schools in the region. The Trafford Centre is one of the country’s largest and most spectacular shopping and leisure complexes attracting visitors from across the region. Neighbouring the Trafford Centre are several fitness gyms, indoor tennis, football and sky diving centres and the Chillfactore indoor snow sports complex.

Salford

Salford Quays is fast growing a reputation as Britain’s new media capital with the BBC moving many of it departments to the incredible Media City development. Very much the heart of Salford, the Quays is home to the Salford Water Sports centre and the Lowry Centre, a shopping, restaurant and cinema complex within walking distance of new apartment and office developments. The centre piece however is the iconic theatre and art gallery complex which houses L.S. Lowry’s collection of world famous paintings.

Away from the Quays, the University of Salford is one of the best in the region while the suburb of Worsley is known for its attractive village greens and executive houses.
